Under ‘Bacchon Ki Sarkar Kaisi Ho’ Organized by Digital Baal Mela, under the aegis of Himachal Education Department, sponsored by LIC, a special dialogue session will be organized tomorrow in the campaign. In this session to be held at noon, Amala Rai, founder of the Amala Program for Theatre, will address children from across the country as the chief guest. In this special session, the chief guest will discuss the topic “Theatre and personality development of children”. The special thing about the dialogue session is that in this session the children of Himachal will be able to connect directly through their school.
About the guest:-
Significantly, the chief guest of this session, Mrs Amala Rai, is a resident of Himachal Pradesh, born on April 28, 1961. She has done a 3-year diploma from India’s top cinema institute “The National School of Drama”. Along with this, she has done a 1-year Diploma in Theater from Punjab University and Diploma in “Educational Studies” from the University of Bath, UK. Mrs Rai has 40 years of experience in theatre, and has started Himachal’s first theatre “Abhivikti”.
What’s to happen on June 12-
Priya Sharma, the co-founder of Digital Baal Mela, told how these sessions are a part of the ‘Bacchon Ki Sarkar Kaisi Ho’ campaign. Under this campaign, children aged 8-17 years are putting forward child issues and suggestions to the government, and telling what child-friendly government should do.
Not only this, but she also stated that due to this campaign, Himachal Pradesh will witness a special assembly “Baal Satra” on June 12. In this, out of the children giving suggestions, 68 children will be selected and will put their problems or suggestions in front of the world.
What did the Chief Minister say-
Let us tell you that H.P. Vidhansabha Speaker Shri Kuldeep Singh Pathania has given this opportunity to the children. Along with this, welcoming this campaign, Himachal Chief Minister Mr Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu appealed to the children that the echo of Vidhansabha “Baal Satra” should reach the world.
