Under ‘Bacchon Ki Sarkar Kaisi Ho’ Organized by Digital Baal Mela under the aegis of the Education Department of Himachal Pradesh, sponsored by LIC, a special dialogue session will be organized tommorow. In this session to be held at noon, Himachal Pradesh cabinet minister Mr Anirudh Singh will address children from across the country as the chief guest. In this special session, Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Minister Anirudh Singh will discuss the topic “Panchayati Raj System and Children’s Contribution” with the children. The special thing about this dialogue session is that the children participating in this session are the child MLA contenders of the Himachal Vidhansabha Children’s Session.
Introduction Mr. Anirudh Singh-
It is noteworthy that the Chief Guest of this session Mr. Anirudh Singh was born on January 26, 1977, in Shimla. MLA Anirudh, who has been actively participating in the politics of Himachal since 1998, was the Vice President of the Youth Congress of Shimla district, and then the Vice President of Himachal Youth Congress. In his political tenure of two and a half decades, he has served as MLA, AICC secretary, AICC Assam co-in-charge and Zilla Parishad president. Presently he is the MLA of Kasumpti Vidhan Sabha constituency of Shimla and is the Minister of Panchayati Raj and Rural Development in the Himachal Pradesh cabinet.
Bacchon Ki Sarkar Kaisi Ho’campaign –
Priya Sharma, the co-founder of Digital Baal Mela, stated that these sessions are a part of the campaign ‘Bacchon Ki Sarkar Kaisi Ho’. Under this campaign, the children of 8-17 years are keeping children’s issues and suggestions in front of the government, and are conveying what a child-friendly government should look like. Not only this, but he also told that due to this campaign, Himachal Pradesh will witness a special assembly “Baal Satra” on June 12. In this, out of the children giving suggestions, 68 children will be selected and will put their problems or suggestions in front of the world. The last date to participate in this campaign is May 15.
Let us tell you that H.P. Vidhansabha Speaker Shri Kuldeep Singh Pathania has given this opportunity to the children. Along with this, welcoming this campaign, Himachal Chief Minister Mr Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu appealed to the children to make the echo of Vidhansabha “Baal Satra” reach the world. More than 10,000 children from Himachal Pradesh have attended these special sessions.
