Know why the Speaker of the Baal Satra Lavish Negi had to give a warning..

Jaipur|On June 12, during the historic Baal Satra of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly, the opposition created a ruckus and started protesting against the government . The entire opposition led by the opposition leader came to the house’s floor. For the smooth functioning of the house, the speaker of this special session has to warn the opposition. A warning of postponement was given by the speaker. All this happened when Ms. Tanvi, the child MLA from Nachan inquired about the number of drug de-addiction centers in the state to curb the increasing use of drugs by the children and demanded the government to place district-wise details on the floor of the house.

Responding to this question, Deputy Chief Minister and Kasauli MLA Mr. Tushar Anand placed the district-wise list on the floor of the House . The Leader of the Opposition from Anni, Ms. Ruhanika Verma, was however not satisfied with the answer and stood in the House without permission from the Speaker. She started speaking, and her fellow MLAs started protesting in support of her.Because of this, Lavish Negi, speaker of “Baal Satra” warned the entire opposition. Along with this, Child Chief Minister and MLA from Sundernagar Janhavi , understanding the seriousness of the issue assured the opposition that the government would take strict steps in this direction.

For your information, let us tell you that this historical “Baal Satra” of Himachal Pradesh was organized by Digital Baal Mela and sponsored by LIC. The session was presided over by HP Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania, in which 68 child candidates from across the country put forward their opinions and suggestions. .Addressing the session, Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Mr. Harivansh, who was present as the special guest in this historic session, urged the members of the Lok Sabha and the Vidhan Sabha to learn from the child legislators regarding the peaceful conduct of the House and take inspiration from them .
Digital Baal Mela’s Priya Sharma stated that these child MLAs were selected from among 1,108 children who had registered themselves in the campaign “Baccchon ki Sarkar Kaisi Ho?” and sent their video entries till May 25. After 4 months of continuous efforts, this “Baal Satra” was organized on the occasion of “World Day against Child Labour” .
