Call for Adoption programs to support elderly citizens…

In the Himachal Pradesh Vidhansabha “Baal Satra”, the children from across the country got an opportunity to raise and discuss various personal and social issues. Child MLA from Shimla Arunodai Sharma also presented his suggestion under Rule 324 in the session held at Vidhansabha Bhawan in Shimla on 12th June. Arunodai, seen in the role of Social and Justice Empowerment Minister, in his suggestion spoke in the interest of special children and old citizens.

Addressing the house, he told that the government should open ashrams for special children. This ashram should be such that it has all the facilities. Along with this, he suggested to bring such a scheme in the state, in which there is a provision for adoption of old citizens. Through this scheme, the children who have lost their grandparents would get their love , and elders will get a warm shelter .

Chief Minister Mr. Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu also talked about this suggestion given by Arunodayi in his address and told that the Himachal government is already working for special children, and the government is trying to provide the best possible education to the special children of the state. .

Janhvi Sharma, the founder of Digital Baal Mela, said that Vidhansabha Speaker Mr. Kuldeep Singh Pathania presided over the session and CM Mr. Sukhu was the chief guest. Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Mr. Harivansh  was also present as a special guest in this session. Not only this, the cabinet ministers and MLAs of the state also reached the Vidhansabha Bhawan to witness the children’s session being held for the first time in the state.
