The contribution of youth is most important in the development of any country. And if the youth starts acting irresponsibly, then the country can’t progress. Chamba’s Child MLA Akarshit Sharma, who became a part of the Himachal Pradesh Vidhansabha “Baal Satra” held on 12 June, raised the issue of rising road accidents in the state. As a member of the opposition, under the proceedings of Rule 324 in the House, he kept this issue before the government and the society.
Child MLA Akarshit Sharma said that-
Everyday many incidents of rash driving come to the fore and most of the people involved in these are young. This results in the loss of precious lives and property. Today, the country and state are heading towards progress, and such accidents involving the youth is major setback to the nation. To stop such irresponsible acts , the government should take strict steps and crack down on these unruly youths. Urging the youth through the House, he asked them to understand their responsibility and drive with care .
Janhvi Sharma, the founder of Digital Baal Mela, told that the state of Himachal Pradesh is very popular among the youth of the country for biking. In such a situation, thousands of riders come to the state every day for the same .
For your information, let us tell you that Akarshit was selected from among more than 1,100 children who sent their video entries. A total of 68 child MLAs were selected from across the country for the historic Vidhan Sabha Baal Satra held in Shimla on the occasion of “World Day against Child Labor”. The selected children successfully carried the proceedings of the House for a day .
