Jaipur| The Historic Himachal Pradesh Vidhansabha Baal Satra was organised under the campaign – “Bacchon Ki Sarkaar Kaisi Ho?”– by Digital Baal and LIC. The Baal Satra was organized in Vidhansabha Bhawan in Shimla on 12th of June. In this, 68 children from across the country took part and kept their issues/suggestions in front of the government by conducting the proceedings of question hour and rule 324 in the assembly.
Child MLA Arinjay Bhagat’s Suggestion-
Child MLA from Nahan, Arinjay Bhagat also gave his suggestion to the government and urged the government to set up a help desk for the MLAs. With the help of these help desks, MLAs can know about all the schemes being run by the Central and State Governments and can also send applications to implement them .Along with this, he said that an audit bureau should also be constituted for the MLAs, which would keep an account of the amount spent by the MLA. Due to this, corruption and reckless spending of government money would stop.
This golden opportunity to the children was given by Digital Baal Mela under its campaign “Bacchon Ki Sarkaar Kaisi Ho?” The purpose of this campaign is to increase the political awareness of children . Under this campaign, a children’s session was organized in 2021 as well, in which 200 children of the country presented their views in the Rajasthan Vidhansabha. Children from 13 states were selected for the Rajasthan Baal Satra.
