Under Rule 324, Opposition MLA Sonam kept her point in the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly ‘Bal Session’.

A special children’s session was organized in the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly on June 12.

Jaipur. On June 12, the state witnessed a historic Children’s Session presided over by the Speaker of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly. For this special session, 68 children were selected from across the country, the process of which lasted for a total of three months. “Child representatives” were seen raising their voices on child issues in Shimla Vidhan Sabha Bhavan. Sonam of Bhoranj was also selected in this process in which she got a chance to become the legislator of the opposition and she spoke under rule 324. Sonam said, ‘I want to draw the attention of the House under rule 324 of the procedure to a very big problem that most of the landslides in the state occur during the rainy season. There should be proper arrangement of drainage and the debris should be removed during the construction itself on both sides of the construction of roads and at a 45-degree angle, if it is not possible to remove it then it should be supported by building strong walls.

In this session, Chief Minister of the state Mr. Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, and Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Mr. Harivansh Narayan Singh as a special guest attended the session. The special feature of this session was that the children played the role of Chief Minister, Leader of Opposition, Speaker, and all the posts and ran the state assembly for a day.
