Jaipur Anirudh Singh is currently the secretary of the All-India Congress Committee. He was also the Vice President of the Himachal Youth Congress. Anirudh Singh has also been the coordinator of the Shimla parliamentary constituency and National Youth Congress. In the year 2005, he contested for the first time as a Zilla Parishad member and won from Chamiya ward. From the year 2011 to the year 2013, Anirudh Singh has also been the President of Shimla Zilla Parishad.
Anirudh Singh contested the assembly elections for the first time in the year 2012 and since then he has been winning continuously. Cabinet Minister Anirudh Singh has been a member of the Subordinate Legislative Committee in the year 2012. Apart from this, he was also a member of the rules committee. In the assembly elections of the year 2022, Anirudh Singh defeated BJP’s strongman Suresh Bhardwaj by more than 8 thousand 655 votes. In the cabinet formed in 2023, Anirudh Singh was given the charge of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister. The special thing about Anirudh Singh is that he has not lost a single election till date.
