UNICEF Rajasthan communication Expert said, – the biggest need is to take 40% of the population along
Under the new initiative “Gender Sensitive Rajasthan” of UNICEF and Future Society, a media workshop was organized in Suryanagari Jodhpur on Wednesday, 20 December 2023 to increase gender sensitivity. On this occasion, Ankush Singh, communication specialist of UNICEF Rajasthan, in his inaugural address explained the important role of the fourth pillar of democracy in securing child rights. He said that for the all-round development of children, necessary doses of vaccine should be administered from time to time.
In the workshop organized at RTDC Hotel “Ghoomar”, Jodhpur, he made a presentation in front of the media colleagues through which he explained that there are many gender-related issues in Rajasthan which need to be highlighted. Even today, lakhs of children in Rajasthan are deprived of the right to live, education, safety and participation. Ankush Singh said that 40% of the population in our country is below 20 years of age and they are being left behind. Therefore, to keep children at the pace of development, it is important to protect their rights. It is noteworthy that journalists from the Jodhpur division participated enthusiastically in this workshop.
