Bhajan Lal Jatav is Lok Sabha candidate from Karauli-Dholpur, Rajasthan. By profession, Bhajan Lal Jatav is engaged in agriculture, business and also former MLA and cabinet Minister. He has also been the Chairman of Rajasthan State Road Development and Construction Corporation.
He won his first election from Vair-Bhusawar assembly in 2013 and won his second election from same constituency in 2018. Jatav has been a member of the Scheduled Caste Welfare Committee from 2014 to 2018. As Minister of State in the Ashok Gehlot government from 2018 to 2021, he got independent charge of departments like Printing and Stationery Department, Agriculture Department, Animal Husbandry Department and Fisheries Department.
In the cabinet expansion held in 2021, he was made a cabinet minister and was given the office of Public Works Department. In the 2023 assembly elections, he had to face defeat from Vair-Bhusawar assembly seat. Now in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Congress has fielded him from Karauli-Dholpur.
