National Legal Service Day is celebrated every year on 9 November in India. It is celebrated to commemorate the adoption of the Legal Services Authority Act 1987.
This Act came into force on 9 November 1995 after the Amendment Act of 1994.
After the establishment of National Legal Service Day, the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) was established at the national level.
This Day was established to help and assist women, Scheduled Tribes, people with disabilities, Scheduled Castes, natural disaster victims and human trafficking victims.
People from marginalized communities, women and minorities often have little or no legal knowledge. On National Legal Service Day, such people are educated about their rights and free legal services that they can avail. It also includes spreading awareness among the people about justice. People are made aware of all these things to provide fair justice to people of every class and every religion and to ensure that there is no discrimination of any kind.
This competition is organized by Digital Baal Mela to increase the writing ability in children. Every month the child who sends the best article is awarded the title ‘Writer of the Month’ and the winner is given an amount of ₹ 1100. We organize this competition every month, the information on which topics you have to write articles is given by Digital Baal Mela at the end of every month. Articles written by children are posted on the website of Digital Baal Mela.
