Jaipur| On 7th July, Digital Baal Mela organized the closing program of the exhibition “Sketches of Museums” at Hawa mahal. Manya Sharma took second place in Amer Live Painting Competition and she was rewarded by Rajasthan Art and Culture Minister Dr. BD Kalla and Mrs. Shivkumari Kalla. Manya of Jai Shree Periwal High School of Jaipur was given a cash reward of Rs 5,100. Manya did a live painting of Ganesh Pole in this competition held in Amer. More than 50 children participated in this competition.
13-year-old Manya’s father’s name is Pankaj Sharma and he does business of air conditioners. The competition was organized under Digital Baal Mela’s initiative “Museums Through My Eyes”. Baal Mela seeks to increase awareness of art, culture, and museums among children through this initiative. Along with this, a live painting competition and origami competition were also organized in Hawamahal due to this program. It is worth mentioning that Baal Mela keeps on organizing such types of events from time to time. In which the art and creativity of children get new wings and their awareness also increases. Digital Bal Mal has created an online platform for children in which children can participate in their favorite activities from home. Due to this, the time children’s mobile use is spent in the right place.
