This initiative by Digital Baal Mela and UNICEF – Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch -is meant for children. All the children hailing from the rural pockets of Rajasthan can join this campaign. The age limit for participating is 10 to 18 years, all who are not eligible to cast their votes for now. The major motto and aim of this campaign is to make these children aware about Democracy, and to help create future leaders who are well informed . Any child who wish to bring a change in his/her village can become a part of this campaign . This campaign will provide children a platform where they can tell about their problems and grievances and also find their solutions.
As a part of this campaign, Digita Baal Mela will be organising various sessions. These sessions will be attended by renowned leaders and ministers who will converse with the children. The children will be joined through their respective schools, gram panchayats, and gram samitis.
There are numerous ways to participate in this campaign – live sessions , quiz sessions , video entries, and debate competitions being a few of them . But for this , the first step is to register your name on Digital Baal Mela’s site or by sending a direct message via whatsapp.
Let us tell you that this is not the first campaign by Digital Baal Mela . Digital Baal Mela has organised various such campaigns in the past as well , which has helped children boost their confidence. “Shades of Covid “, “Museums through My Eyes” , “Bachho Ki Sarkaar Kaisi Ho” , are the prominent ones.
