How to become a BAAL SARPANCH?
To take part in this campaign, children are first required to register their names on Digital Baal Mela’s website or directly send a message on our WhatsApp/Telegram number.
You are supposed to send the following details- Name, age, class, name of your school, and the name of your Gram panchayat. After sending this information, children are to meee a video in which they need to tell about their village Panchayats – any unique feature/ the problems they face/ how do they like trrrr Sarpanch/what would they do if they were a village Sarpanch and like. Children will have to participate in the online and offline sessions held in Rajasthan by Digital Baal Mela. Of all these children participating in the campaign, one will be chosen as Baal Sarpanch.
This is not the first campaign to increase the political awareness of children. Digital Baal Mela has launched such campaigns in the past too. Last year, around 200 children from all over the country got a chance to be a part of the special session of Rajasthan’s Vidhaan Sabha. This opportunity was given to these little children by the Honourable speaker of Rajasthan Assembly Mr.CP Joshi Ji.
