Jaipur. In Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, where on one hand the results of the election of the student union president were announced, on the other hand, the election of Jairam Pura Panchayat Baal Sarpanch of Amer was seen. Digital Baal Mela and UNICEF gave this opportunity to the children by organizing a Baal Panchayat in Jairam Pura Panchayat of Amer.
Out of the 250 children present in this Baal Panchayat, 20 children expressed their views on the subject, how should their Adarsh gram panchayat should be? After campaigning, the children were appealed to vote by the candidates. Not only this, but all the children present there also cast their vote for their representatives. This process was done through a voting ballot. One child sarpanch from each Panchayat Samiti will be called to the Panchayati Raj Bhawan in Jaipur, in which the children will communicate their problems and suggestions directly to the Chief Minister of Rajasthan.
Ramkumar Yadav, unit president (Congress) of Amer was present as a special guest in this Baal Panchayat, and Jagdish Nitharwal, sarpanch of Jairampura was also present as the chief guest. Promising to redress the questions and problems raised by his children, Sarpanch said that any child who comes out as child sarpanch through this program, that child will be present in the meeting to be held in the Panchayat Bhawan of Jairampura Gram Panchayat.
Along with this, Ramkumar Yadav ji associated with this program as a special guest, referring to the Rajasthan Assembly Children’s Session organized by Digital Baal Mela, told the children that “the way children had learned the virtues of politics in the Children’s Vidhan Sabha, in the same way a lot will be learned about the Panchayat Raj system through this effort”. He also appealed to the Digital Baal Mela to organize such programs in Amer Tehsil and Gram Panchayat.
