Jaipur| Panchayati Raj has achieved milestone records in India. The participation of women has increased owing to the 33 percent reservation, while the activism of sarpanches has given national voice to rural issues. Today there are hundreds of such Sarpanch in the country who are working tirelessly to strengthen democracy in India. The Panchayat Raj system has reduced the distance between the policy-regulators from the villages to the towns and from the cities.
Therefore, now there is a need to strengthen Panchayat Raj and this strength will be influenced by the participation of children; articulating the voice of the children, and by understanding the words of the children. There are many such countries where children’s opinion is taken into consideration in policy making. Moving from a developing country to a developed India, we also have to increase the participation of children and if it is started with Panchayat Raj, then surely, the voice of the largest democracy in the world will be louder .
Digital Bal Mela and UNICEF has started a new campaign for this, in which children will have to tell what they understand about Panchayat. Children of all Panchayats of Rajasthan can participate in this campaign. Children have to tell about what do they know about the Panchayat Raj system , knowing how much, what are its advantages/disadvantages, when and who founded it,and like . Children should also tell that how can they express their views by joining the Panchayat Raj system?

2. Then make videos of important ideas from them.
3. You take help of someone elder to make this video.
4. You can also go to your farm or panchayat building to make this video.
