“Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch” campaign by Digital Baal Mela is officially launched from Barangana, Nagaur, today on 2nd October. On this occasion, Nagaur Collector Peeyush Samariya was present as the chief guest and addressed the program as well.
Jaipur. October 2nd is an important day in Indian history. On this day in 1959, the country’s first and then Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru first started Panchayati Raj in Nagaur district of Rajasthan. Today, after 63 years, on the exact same day, a historic beginning has once again started in Nagaur. Digital Baal Mela’s unique campaign “Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch” is officially launched today from Barangana, Nagaur. On this occasion, Barangana Sarpanch Hanuman Chaudhary, Nagaur Collector Peeyush Samariya and Rajasthan UNICEF Chief Isabel Bardam were also present as chief guests. Peeyush Samariya also addressed everyone in the program about this campaign.
What did Collector Peeyush Samariya say?
Nagaur District Collector Peeyush Samariya first welcomed everyone to the “Baal Panchayat” organised by Digital Baal Mela on the occasion of the official launch of “Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch” campaign. Describing the implementation of Panchayati Raj in Nagaur by Jawaharlal Nehru as a big milestone in the country, he described the Gram Panchayat as a living monument of empowerment and democracy. He said that development works can also be done at village level. Describing the “Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch” campaign of Digital Baal Mela as a great effort to connect the coming generations with the Panchayat, Peeyush Samariya said that efforts should be made to ensure more participation in this campaign, so that the Panchayat level can be further empowered.
