In “Baal Panchayat” organised in Rajawas under the innovative campaign “Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch” by Digital Baal Mela, children did not only get to know about Panchayati Raj and democracy at the village level. They also presented cultural performances.
Jaipur. After the official launch from Nagaur on 2nd October 2022, the innovative campaign “Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch” of Digital Baal Mela reached Rajawas village of Jaipur on 8th October. Under this campaign, a “Baal Panchayat” was also organised for the children, in which Minakshi Meena, Sarpanch of Rajawas attended as the chief guest. More than 400 children present on this occasion presented their claim for the post of “Baal Sarpanch” along with getting to know about Panchayati Raj, functions of Sarpanch, Gram Panchayat and other such subjects. But not only this, school girls also presented cultural performances.
Cultural performances of school girls impressed everyone
During the Baal Panchayat organised in Rajawas, girls of Government Senior Secondary School in Jalsu block of Rajawas also presented cultural performances and impressed everyone. Jean Sain of 12th class performed a song about daughters. Harshita Saini, Payal Kanwar, Priya Gurjar, Rimjhim Kumawat, Priya Meena of 11th class and Seema Gurjar, Renu Jatt, Meera Saini, Khushi and Shivani of 12th class performed dandiya dance on film song. Akshita Jain, Nishu Chaudhary, Khushi Choudhary, Anisha Kumari and Kareena Bairwa of 7th class presented a dance on a mashup of several film songs as a tribute to the nation. These three performances were very appreciated with applause by all the people present in the program.
