Under ‘Main Bhi Bal Sarpanch’ campaign of Digital Baal Mela, ‘Baal Sarpanch’ has been elected from ‘Baal Panchayat’ in Jawanpura village of Viratnagar, Jaipur.
Jaipur. Digital Baal Mela organised a ‘Baal Panchayat’ under ‘Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch’ campaign, on 1st November in Jawanpura village of Viratnagar, Jaipur. In this campaign launched by Digital Baal Mela in partnership with UNICEF, ‘Baal Sarpanch’ has been elected through live voting. Counting of those votes has been completed.
Who became Baal Sarpanch from Jawanpura?
In ‘Baal Panchayat’ of Jawanpura village under ‘Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch’ campaign, 17 children presented their claim for ‘Baal Sarpanch’ and a total of 320 votes were cast. Counting of these votes has now been completed. Reena Gurjar with highest number of votes (110) has been elected as Baal Sarpanch from Jawanpura. She will get a chance to sit in Panchayats to be held in her village and give suggestions as well. Along with this, Reena will also get a chance to participate in the state level program of Digital Baal Mela. Apart from this, Meenakshi Gurjar (61 votes) who came up second has been elected as Baal Up-Sarpanch and third place candidate Ishu Singh Shekhawat (39 votes) has been elected as Baal Panch.
