‘Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch’ campaign will reach Jodhpur division for the first time tomorrow. Under this, a Baal Panchayat will also take place in Rohat village of Pali district.
Jaipur. Journey of taking Digital Baal Mela’s innovative campaign ‘Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch’ to the entire Rajasthan is on. So far, this campaign has reached almost every division so far and will enter Jodhpur division for the first time, tomorrow on 7th November. Under this, Rohat village of Pali district has been selected. Children’s Commissio Chairperson and local Sarpanch Bharat Kumar Patel attend as the chief guests in this program and will boost the morale of children.
‘Baal Panchayat’ will take place
Digital Baal Mela will organise a ‘Baal Panchayat’ for rural children in Panchayat Bhawan of Rohat village. In this Baal Panchayat, school children will be introduced to the democratic system at the village level through Panchayati Raj and ‘education, activism and participation’ objective of this campaign, so their awareness can increase in this field. Along with this, Digital Baal Mela will also put in efforts to make Gram Panchayat as ‘Baal Mitra’ Panchayat. Not only this, a ‘Baal Sarpanch’ competition will also take place for children. Interested children will be given an opportunity to present their claim to become ‘Baal Sarpanch’ through this. Along with this, they will also get an opportunity to discuss the problems of their village, their solutions. how would they have worked for the development of their village if they were Sarpanch. Through live voting, the winning candidate will be elected as Baal Sarpanch, and be given a chance to sit in the subsequent Panchayats of their village and give suggestions. They’ll also get to attend the state level program of Digital Baal Mela. Second position child candidate will be elected as Baal Up-Sarpanch and third position child candidate will be elected as Baal Panch.
