Jaipur | While the team was working day and night to make the “Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch” campaign a success, on the other hand, we got the support of the Sarpanch Sangh. Due to the affection of the sarpanchs of Rajasthan towards the children of their village, we took this campaign to the far-flung villages of Rajasthan. This was made possible with the help of the local sarpanchs.
The “Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch” campaign covered all corners of Rajasthan, knocked in 7 divisions, reached the children there, and with the help of the Sarpanch, managed to organize the first “Baal Sabha” of these Gram Panchayats. These children were made aware of Panchayati Raj, they were made aware of the voting process, and they were made aware of their rights. Not only this, but for the first time their children could question the local sarpanches who were present as chief guests.
Under this campaign, an attempt was made to make the Gram Panchayats child friendly. Sarpanchs played an important role in this. We hope in the future also that this campaign of Digital Baal Mela and UNICEF “Main Bhi Bal Sarpanch” will get similar love from the Sarpanchs of Rajasthan.
