Jaipur | Shafia Zubair, the chief guest of the online session to be held on December 11 at 5 pm, will interact with the children. This online session will be organized under the campaign “Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch”. In which 30 child representatives elected by more than 5000 children of Rajasthan will learn the qualities of politics from the MLA. The theme of this session is “Challenges of Women Politics and Leadership”.
Let’s take a look at the life of today’s chief guest-
Ramgarh MLA Shafia Zubair was born in 1967 in Secunderabad. She graduated from Punjab University and is a B.Sc degree holder. Her husband Mr. Zubair Khan worked as Secretary of the All India Congress Committee and is a well-known politician in Rajasthan. Mrs. Shafia has also been the district head of Ramgarh before becoming an MLA. MLA Shafia Ji is also one of the few active women politicians of Rajasthan.
For your information, let us tell you that under this campaign started by Digital Baal Mela and UNICEF, “Baal Panchayats” were organized in 7 divisions of Rajasthan. Our team reached 10 Gram Panchayats and tried to make children aware of the Panchayati Raj system and ensure their participation in this system.
In the next phase of this campaign, now the selected children are increasing their political awareness by having direct communication with the MLAs of Rajasthan. So far Phulera MLA Nirmal Kumawat and Nokha MLA Biharilal Bishnoi have joined the children in these online sessions.
