Who were the children to add their thoughts in the Suggestion Letter?

1. Girl-child education should be implemented compulsory in every Gram Panchayat.
2. Clean drinking water should be available in every Gram Panchayat.
3. Waste Management should be proper in every Gram Panchayat
4. Every Gram Panchayat should have one Playground for children.
5. These Playgrounds in every Gram Panchayat should have proper provisions for playing sports.
6. Every Government school should have clean Toilets.
7. Every government school should have access to travel facilities for children coming from afar.
8. Every Gram Panchayat should have a Park.
All these topics were referred to by the Child-representatives form various Gram Panchayats. The children took up various regional problems, but there were some issues addressed by the majority, as stated above. Therefore, Digital Baal Mela has presented this Suggestion Letter to the government, aiming for it to pay attention to the children’s appeal.
For your information, children submitted this Suggestion Letter under the Three-Day Culmination under Digital Baal Mela and Unicef’s ‘Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch’ campaign – which commenced on the 15th of August in 2022. Under this campaign, three child representatives were chosen through an election process by their friends in Baal Panchayats conducted all over Rajasthan.
