Ajmer. The ongoing ‘Shades of Covid’ painting exhibition in the State Museum is thronging the visitors. On September 3, the exhibition will conclude with a live painting competition. The child to win the competition will get a cash prize of Rs 11,000. At the same time, the second winner will be given a prize of Rs 5,100 and the third one will be given a prize of Rs 1,100. Also, 5 children will be given Appraisal (consolation) prizes. Children can apply for the painting exhibition on the online platform of Digital Baal Mela till August 30. In this painting exhibition organized by Digital Baal Mela and Classmate, around 100 paintings made by children from across the country are being displayed in the state museum. All these paintings are based on their experience during the Corona period; in this children have brought the experience of two years of Corona on canvas. It is worth mentioning that this painting exhibition was inaugurated on 5th August by the Honourable Mayor of Ajmer, Mrs. Brajlata Hada, and Deputy Mayor Mr.Neeraj Jain. On the occasion, he was astonished to see the paintings of the little children.
Children of the Baal Mela became the witness of the country’s first children’s assembly.
Let us inform you that the first Children’s Vidhan Sabha of the country was held on 14 November 2021 in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. In this assembly, the children of Digital Baal Mela conducted the proceedings of the house. Children became the Speaker, Chief Minister, and Minister to MLA and put the issues related to the state in front of everyone on the floor of the Assembly. Soon the children of Digital Baal Mela will showcase their talent in Haryana Vidhan Sabha as well.
