Jaipur| On 7th July Digital Baal Mela organized the concluding program of the “Sketches Of Museums” exhibition at Hawa mahal. Akshara Soni, who became the winner of the Amer Live Painting Competition, was rewarded by Rajasthan Art and Culture Minister Dr. BD Kalla and her wife Mrs. Shivkumari Kalla. Akshara has come first in the Amer Live Painting Competition organized under the aegis of the Rajasthan Archaeological Department. She was given a cash reward of Rs 11,000. Akshara did a live painting of Ganesh Pole in this competition held in Amer. More than 50 children participated in this competition.
Akshara studies at Jai Shree Periwal High School, Jaipur. Her father’s name is Rakesh Soni and he is a businessman. The competition was organized under Digital Baal Mela’s initiative “Museums Through My Eyes”. Baal Mela seeks to increase awareness of art, culture, and museums among children through this initiative. Along with this, a live painting competition and origami competition were also organized in Hawa mahal.
For your information, let us tell you that now Digital Baal Mela will also organize the exhibition “Shades of Covid” sponsored by Classmate. This exhibition will be held in Ajmer’s Akbar Mahal from July 30. It is worth mentioning that Bal Mela keeps on organizing such types of events from time to time. In which the art and creativity of children get new wings and their awareness also increases. Similarly, the Baal Mela also organized the Rajasthan Assembly Children’s Session, the opportunity of which was given to the children by the Speaker of the Assembly, CP Joshi.
