This past Friday, an innovative training program was organised at Teej Hotel in Jaipur under the “Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch” campaign by Digital Baal Mela, Sarpanches and other Panchayat officials from many districts of the state attended this program. Sarpanches and other Panchayat officials from many districts of Rajasthan attended this program. In the program, Digital Baal Mela’s mentor and senior journalist Dr. Meena Sharma addressed the people present there about the “Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch” campaign. Sarpanch of Alakhpura Panchayat of Nagaur, Shravan Ram, who was involved in the training program of “Main Bhi Bal Sarpanch” campaign of Digital Bal Mela, described this campaign as instructive for the children. He said that it is important for children to have political understanding. For this, he goes to every school in his panchayat area and tells the children about the functions of the sarpanch and other important things. Giving assurance of cooperation under the “Main Bhi Bal Sarpanch” campaign of Digital Bal Mela, he said that he will organize Panchayat for children in his village, where children are held in Gram Sabha and how proposals are taken in it like Important things will be told. This will increase awareness among the children.
