Under Digital Baal Mela’s campaign, “ Bacchon ki Sarkaar Kaisi Ho ?” the historic Vidhansabha Baal Satra was organized in Shimla on 12th of June . Most of the children who were selected in this wanted to become education ministers. The most common suggestion was to reduce the weight of children’s bags and to improve the education system. Child legislator from Joginder Nagar , Ms. Priya raised her voice in the interest of children . She asked the government to take necessary steps to reduce the burden of heavy bags and also ensure online operation of education.
Addressing her fellow assembly members, she said that this is the time to change the form of education and adopt modern ways . The Himachal government should also focus on making education online . Through online education, children will be able to understand the subject in a better way, as well as the burden of bags falling on children can also be reduced. Using animation in online education, the government can also increase the interest of children towards education.
Janhvi Sharma , the founder of Digital Baal Mela, told that child MLA Priya presened her suggestion under rule 324 of the legislative process of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly. When this suggestion was being made, the Education Minister of Himachal Pradesh Mr. Rohit Thakur was also present in the House .
