Rarah Panchayat Kusum Mohan Kept her word to address appeals by Children from Baal Panchayat.

Jaipur: After returning from the Three-day Convention of the ‘Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch’ campaign, Child representatives were honored in the Rarah Panchayat of Bharatpur District. Rarah Sarpanch Kusum Mohan felicitated the Baal Sarpanch Payal Singh, Baal Deputy Sarpanch Aarti Singh, and Baal Panch Kumkum Sharma with a garland and a Shawl. These children represented Bharatpur Division in the three-day convention of the “Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch campaign from the 25th to the 27th of December.
For your information, the ‘Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch’ campaign was Started by Digital Baal mela in collaboration with UNICEF on the 15th of August, Independence Day 2022. Under this Initiative, 10 Baal Panchayats were organized Division-vise in all f Rajasthan. The representatives elected through voting in each Baal panchayat got to be a part of the three-day convention in Jaipur; under which the children attended interactive sessions with experienced people in numerous fields and went on an educational tour across Jaipur. The children visited the Indira Gandhi Panchayati Raj and Gramin Vikas Sansthan, Albert Hall Museum, and Rajasthan Vidhan Sabha.
It is noteworthy that the Digital Baal Mela was started during the difficult times of covid by 10-year-old Janhvi Sharma from Maharaja Sawai Man Singh Vidyalaya in Jaipur to overcome the boredom of her friends. The Digital Baal mela organized a historic Baal Satra for the first time on the 14th of November 2021 due to a golden opportunity given by Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Dr. CP Joshi.
