Jaipur | By organizing “Baal Panchayats” in Rajasthan, now the “Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch” campaign has moved forward to its next phase. In the campaign launched by Digital Baal Mela and UNICEF, the work is now underway to carve out 30 child representatives selected from across Rajasthan. In this initiative being run through online sessions, the MLAs of Rajasthan are playing the role of gurus who teaching the precise are of politics to these children.
So far, Phulera MLA from Jaipur Nirmal Kumawat and Nokha MLA from Bikaner Biharilal Bishnoi Ji has joined the children’a interactive sessions as chief guests or rather as an educator. While Phulera MLA’s topic was “Role of children in Panchayati Raj”, Nokha MLA taught children a lesson on “administrative efficiency and political challenges”.
Janhvi Sharma of Digital Baal Mela also informed that in the coming days the children will join Kishangarh MLA Suresh Tak and eminent BJP leader and Malviya Nagar MLA Kalicharan Saraf. In these sessions, not only do MLAs share their experiences, children are able to share their issues and ask questions to the leaders.
We will be glad to inform you that these 30 children have been selected by organizing 10 “Baal Panchayats” in 7 divisions of Rajasthan. The electors of these children are none other than their companions who have chosen them through the ballot box process. It is worth noting that through these online sessions, children are getting to know new aspects of politics and at the same time, they are also getting to know how to make their voices heard.
