Jaipur: On the occasion of International Child Labor Prohibition Day on June 12, under the aegis of the Himachal Pradesh Vidhansabha, a special assembly children’s session was organized by Digital Bal Mela. 68 selected children from all over the country participated in it. More than 25,000 children from all over the country joined this campaign. 1108 children sent their thoughts through video as their entry. Out of these, these 68 children were selected who had run the House as Child Chief Minister, Child Speaker, Cabinet and Minister of State and MLA of ruling party and opposition. Digital Bal Mela is a platform set up by children to create awareness among children and provide a platform to showcase their art. The Digital Bal Mela is helping children unleash their creative side by harnessing the power of information technology and has received an overwhelming response.

 

 

Let us tell you that the Digital Bal Mela was started in 2020 by 10-year-old Janhvi Sharma, a resident of Jaipur. Digital Bal Mela has so far organized many campaigns which include “Rajasthan Vidhan Sabha Children’s Session”, “Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Children’s Session”, “Main Bhi Bal Sarpanch” etc.
