Jaipur. On May 19 ,Friday ; the Chief Parliamentary Secretary of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly – Mr. Sunder Singh Thakur will join the children as the chief guest in the dialogue session organized under the campaign Baccho Ki Sarkar Kaisi Ho? In this special session, the chief guest will have a discussion with the child MLA contenders on the topic “Role of Parliamentary Secretaries in the Legislative Assembly”. Various stalwarts from the fields of politics and art have interacted with the children of Digital Baal Mela in this campaign so far.
MLA Sundar Singh Thakur iNTRODUCTION-
Significantly, the chief guest of this session is MLA Sundar Singh Thakur, the representative of Kullu assembly constituency of Himachal Pradesh. He was born on May 5, 1965 in Shallang village of Kullu and received his primary education from here. After this Chief Parliamentary Secretary Sundar Singh ji took B.Sc from Punjab University and Law from Himachal Pradesh University.
Honorable MLA, during his political tenure of 38 years, was associated with various organizations and held important positions in them. In the year 1985-86, he was the Organizing Secretary of HIMSA Chandigarh, Vice President of NSUI Organization Himachal Pradesh, President of Panchayat Samiti Kullu, Vice President of Zilla Parishad Kul, and Member Pollution Council and He has also worked on the post of Himachal Pradesh Sports Council. This is the second term of Mr. Sunder Singh Thakur as an MLA.
For your information, let us tell you that the registration date for the Baccho Ki Sarkar Kaisi Ho campaign has been extended by 10 days. Now instead of May 15, children can send their entries for Himachal Pradesh Vidhansabha “Baal Satra” till May 25. Priya Sharma, co-founder of Digital Baal Mela, told that this campaign is being organized under the aegis of the Education Department of Himachal Pradesh. As a part of this campaign which sponsored by LIC, Vidhansabha Baal Session will be held Shimla on 12th June, wherein a total of 68 children from across the country will participate.
Himachal Pradesh Vidhansabha Speaker Shri Kuldeep Singh Pathania and Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu along with other legislators will be present in this historic “Baal Satra” to boost the morale of the children.
Also after this session, on May 20, Himachal’s youngest MLA Mr. Chaitanya Sharma will interact with the children.
