Jaipur|The issue of the deepening water crisis in the state was raised in the Himachal Pradesh Vidhansabha “Bal Satra” held on 12th of June. Under the proceedings of the Question Hour, in question 8, the member of the opposition and child candidate from Hamirpur, Thakur Prashant, asked what work the state government is doing to provide water to the houses in view of the deepening water crisis in the state. He demanded the government to lay all the details on the table of the House.
A copy of this was given by Child Deputy Chief Minister and Water Minister ( independent charge ), Tushar Anand. He stated that a detailed report of the same has also been prepared and soon the department will put these figures in front of the public. After this, the government will work to provide tapped water to every house.
Janhvi Sharma, founder of Digital Baal Mela, told that during the selection process, many children had given proposals to solve the water crisis in Himachal Pradesh. Not only this, the children told that very little work is being done by the government in this field .
