Kaun Banega Bal Parishad Abhiyan is moving towards half century
Children from 43 wards of Municipal Corporation Heritage participated, children’s enthusiasm was at its peak
‘Kaun Banega Bal Parishad’ campaign is continuously moving forward with the joint efforts of Municipal Corporation Heritage, Jaipur and Future Society’s Digital Bal Mela. So far, children from 43 wards have participated in this unique campaign and spread awareness in the society on topics like cleanliness and solid waste management with their ideas, art and talent. This campaign is not only underlining the importance of cleanliness, but is also preparing children for leadership and social participation.
Main activities and competitions so far
Children shared their ideas through creative programs like painting, slogan writing, poster making and drama.
A pledge of cleanliness was taken with the oath taking program in every ward.
Through quiz competitions, children gained and shared information on solid waste management, Swachh Bharat Mission and environmental aspects of their city Jaipur.
Special guests participated in the campaign
During the campaign, officials of Municipal Corporation Heritage, public representatives of the city, councilors of various wards, educationists, social workers and environmentalists have been constantly encouraging the children. On many occasions, Rajya Sabha MPs and senior officials have also praised the efforts of the children.
Activity of children
The children spread awareness on important issues like solid waste management, separation of wet and dry waste, ill effects of plastic and recycling in a playful manner. Their presentations became a source of inspiration for common citizens, schools and society.
This campaign is moving towards the half century and is aiming to reach 100 wards in the coming time, so that Jaipur can be made a leader in cleanliness across the country.
