Every year 11th November is celebrated as National Education Day in the country. The purpose of this day is to spread awareness around the world about the importance of education. This day is organized on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the first Education Minister of India, which we celebrate as National Education Day. Maulana Abul Kalam Azad is counted among the great freedom fighters. He made significant contributions to education in the country after independence. In the year 2008, the Ministry of Human Resource Development declared 11 November as National Education Day. National Education Day reminds us of the important role of education in building an equal and empowered society. This year, National Education Day 2024 brings new opportunities to highlight the educational journey and aspirations of the nation.
