Jaipur | In the first Vidhansabha “Baal Satra” in the history of Himachal Pradesh state, after the proceedings of the question hour, the proceedings of Rule 324 were carried out by the child legislators. In this session, the children of the state gave suggestions to their government on various issues and drew attention to the problems of the children. During the Baal Satra, Deputy-Speaker Raghav Kalla gave a chance to Nitika Chauhan, the member of the opposition from Rampur Bushahr, to keep her point in the house.

Keeping her point in front of all the child ministers and legislators present in the House, she said that in a democratic country like India, law plays a crucial role. Whether it is about rights or respect, the law ensures that all citizens do not face any kind of problem. That is why the government should focus on simplification of the law to increase legal awareness among common citizens. Under this, books, tool kits, animated videos can be developed in easy language by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Janhvi Sharma ,the founder of Digital Baal Mela told that 68 child legislators from 5 states had participated in this historic “Baal Satra”. Not only this, these children conducted the entire “Children’s Session” sitting on the chair of ministers and MLAs in the House. The session was presided over by Kuldeep Singh Pathania , the Speaker of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly.
