Let us know about Rajasthan’s Minister of State Otram Dewasi…

He is also called the first Cow Minister of the country.

 Otram Devasi ji was born in Mundara on 10 October 1964. Otram Dewasi belongs to the Dewasi community associated with animal husbandry and is known as a big leader in western Rajasthan. He has been associated with Bharatiya Janata Party since 1984.

  Before coming into politics, Otram was posted as a constable in Rajasthan Police but due to health problem he had to leave this job.

 In 2008, Otram Dewasi contested his first election from Sirohi Assembly on Bharatiya Janata Party ticket and won. In the 2013 assembly elections, he again won from Sirohi assembly. In 2014, he was also a member of the Estimates Committee of Rajasthan Assembly. From 2009 to 2013, Otram ji has also been a member of the Scheduled Caste Welfare Committee.

 In October, 2014, Ottaram Dewasi was made the Minister of Dairy and Devasthan Administration of Temples receiving government funds with the additional charge of Cow Husbandry Department, along with the Devasthan Department. His responsibilities also included supervision of the Cow Service Commission and the Directorate of Cow Protection of Rajasthan.

 Otram Devasi is also called the first Cow Minister of the country.

 Devasi was given the status of Union Minister of State and was also made the Chairman of Seed Corporation of Delhi.

 In the 2023 assembly elections also, Otram Dewasi won the election from Sirohi Assembly and was appointed Minister of State in the newly formed BJP government. Otram Devasi ji was given the charge of Panchayati Raj Department, Rural Development Department, Disaster Management Assistance and Civil Defense Department.

The Digital Baal Mela was started by Janhvi Sharma, a student of Maharaja Sawai Mansingh Vidyalaya, Jaipur, to remove the boredom of children during the Corona period. Under this, many campaigns have been organized so far in which “What should be the government of children?” “Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch”, “Kaun Banega Loktantra Prahari”, “Museum Through My Eyes” etc. are included.
