Today, 1 month has been completed of Digital Baal Mela’s innovative campaign “Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch”.
Jaipur. On 2nd October, Digital Baal Mela started a campaign called “Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch” to make village children aware of Panchayati Raj system and to increase their participation in democracy. Digital Baal Mela has partnered with UNICEF for this campaign. Today, this campaign completed one month. Let’s take a look at the journey of this innovative campaign so far.
Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch’s journey so far
2nd October – Baal Panchayat in Barangana, Nagaur.
8th October – Baal Panchayat in Rajawas, Jaipur.
15th October – Baal Panchayat in Kajra, Jhunjhunu.
17th October – Baal Panchayat in Rangaisar, Churu.
29th October – Baal Panchayat in Rarah, Bharatpur.
1st November – Baal Panchayat in Jawanpura of Viratnagar, Jaipur.

More than a thousand children have participated in these Baal Panchayats and got to learn about the Panchayati Raj system of Rajasthan as well as got to know about “education, activism and participation” in democracy at the village level. But this journey is not over yet. This is just the beginning and now this campaign has to be taken to every corner of Rajasthan. For that, your cooperation will be important along with the efforts of Digital Baal Mela.
