Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch:- From gaushala to library child candidates concerned about everything…

 The claimants of the “Baal Sarpanch” of Raja were told what will they do as sarpanch.

Jaipur, Amer| On October 8, Digital Baal Mela and UNICEF reached Jalsu Panchayat Samiti of Amer and organized “Baal Panchayat” in Rajawas Gram Panchayat. In this, more than 400 children from 5 schools learned the nuances of Panchayat Raj through the “Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch” campaign. Along with education, work was also done to ensure the participation of these children in Panchayat Raj.

 

Under this, the children presented their claim for “Baal Sarpanch” and appealed to other children to vote. In this session, a total of 32 children spoke on the subject of what would they do in their village if they become sarpanch?. In this claim session, it has been proved how well children read and understand the nearby situation. Children’s manifesto includes water conservation, road repair, cleaning of drains, construction of cow shelter, seating arrangement at Rajawas bus stand, free library, installation of CCTV for the safety of girls, Cure of lumpy diseases, construction of the veterinary hospital, and promised to fulfill them.

 

After this session, other children also voted for the contenders. For your information, let us tell you that this campaign was started to ensure the education, activism, and participation of children in Panchayat Raj. UNICEF joined hands with Digital Bal Mela for “main bhi Baal sarpanch”. It is noteworthy that this campaign was started by the Barangana Gram Panchayat of Nagaur.
