Under “Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch” campaign of Digital Baal Mela, a “Baal Sarpanch” has been elected by live voting in “Baal Panchayat” from Kajra village of Jhunjhunu.
Jaipur. After the official launch of Digital Baal Mela’s innovative campaign “Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch” on 2nd October 2022, this campaign reached Kajra village of Jhunjhunu on 15th October. A “Baal Panchayat” was also organised on this occasion, in which “Baal Sarpanch” has been elected from Kajra through live voting.
Who was chosen by Baal Panchayat of Kajra?
Under “Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch” campaign, 229 children from 5 schools participated in “Baal Panchayat” of Kajra. A total of 10 of these children presented their claim for “Baal Sarpanch” and told that if they were Sarpanch, how would they have worked for the solution of the problems of their area and for the development works. All the children present in panchayat were given a chance to vote for their favourite candidates. After the counting of these votes is completed, Baal Sarpanch has been elected from Kajra. Abhishek Shekhawat has been elected as Baal Sarpanch from Kajra with the highest number of votes (86). He will not only get a chance to sit and give suggestions in panchayats to be held in his area, but will also get a chance to participate in the state level program by Digital Baal Mela. Apart from this, Ashish Mann (65 votes) who came second, has been elected as Baal Up-Sarpanch and third place Kirti Sharma (37 votes) has been elected as Baal Panch.
