“Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch” campaign of Digital Baal Mela arrived in Rajawas on 8th October. Along with this, a “Baal Panchayat” was also organised, in which, a “Baal Sarpanch” has been elected from Rajawas through live voting.
Jaipur. On 8th October, Digital Baal Mela’s innovative campaign “Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch” arrived in Rajawas village of Jaipur. A “Baal Panchayat” was also organised on this occasion, in which, a “Baal Sarpanch” has been elected from Rajawas through live voting.
Who was chosen by the Baal Panchayat of Rajawas?
Under “Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch” campaign, more than 400 children participated in “Baal Panchayat” of Rajawas and made a new record of attendance. A total of 36 children out of these, presented their claim for “Baal Sarpanch”. They told that if they were Sarpanch, how would they work for the solution of the problems and development works of their area. All the children present in Baal Panchayat were given a chance to do live voting for their favourite candidate. After the counting of these votes, Baal Sarpanch has been elected from Rajawas. Jaishankar Meena has been elected as Baal Sarpanch from Rajawas with 151 votes, highest votes. He will not only get a chance to sit and give suggestions in the Panchayats to be held in their area, but also get a chance to participate in the state level program organised by Digital Baal Mela. Apart from this, Ritvika Chaudhary, who came up second with 106 votes, has been elected as Baal UpSarpanch and Jitesh Yadav, who came up third with 57 votes, has been elected as Baal Panch.
