Under ‘Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch’ campaign, a ‘Baal Sarpanch’ has been elected from Rohat village’s ‘Baal Panchayat’, which took place on 7th November.
Jaipur. Digital Baal Mela’s innovative campaign called ‘Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch’ reached Jodhpur division for the first time on 7th November. With this campaign, a ‘Baal Panchayat’ was organised in Rohat village of Pali district. A ‘Baal Sarpanch’ competition also took place in this Baal Panchayat, in which, live voting was done to elect Baal Sarpanch. Counting of those votes has now been completed.
Who became Baal Sarpanch from Rohat?
23 child candidates participated in ‘Baal Sarpanch’ competition in ‘Baal Panchayat’ of Rohat village under ‘Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch’ campaign of Digital Baal Mela. Counting of votes cast for these child candidates
is now over. Varsha Patel got maximum 160 votes and has been elected as Baal Sarpanch from Rohat. Varsha will get a chance to sit in the subsequent panchayats to be held in her area and give suggestions. Not only this, Varsha will also get an opportunity to participate in the state level program of Digital Baal Mela. Laxman Vishnoi, who came second with 116 votes, has been elected as Baal Up-Sarpanch and Ravindra Banjara, who came third with 29 votes, has been elected as Bal Panch. These 2 will also get an opportunity to attend the state level program of Digital Baal Mela.
