Jaipur |As part of the campaign ‘Bacchon Ki Sarkar Kaisi Ho’, the Nationwide innovation of Digital Baal Mela, on Monday, May 22, children understood the need for money power in politics. This was the occasion of children’s dialogue session, in which the Chief Parliamentary Secretary of Himachal Pradesh Vidhansabha Mr. Ram Kumar participated as the chief guest. In this session, he interacted with the child MLA contenders of Himachal Pradesh Vidhansabha “Baal Satra” on the topic “How important is money power in politics”.

At the beginning of this dialogue session held at noon, MLA Ram Kumar Chaudhary shared his early political life with the children and told that he contested the Zilla Parishad election in 2006 against his will due to people’s insistence and also won it. In this stage of politics, he did many things for the development of rural areas. As a result of this, 15 Gram Panchayats of his area were honored with the President’s Nirmal Samman.

Discussing the topic of the session, the Honorable MLA said that money power is needed in politics not at the time of voting but before and after voting. Giving his own example, he told that he keeps on doing poor children’s education, marriage, religious tours, organizing sports competitions, repairing and donating schools etc.
MLA funds cannot be used for these works. In such a situation, they have to pay money from their own pocket. This work is necessary for the welfare of the society and it requires money and sometimes force. Chief guest Ram Kumar Chaudhary also answered the questions of the child candidates present in the session.

Some questions asked by the children-

Question- Bhanupriya from Himachal asked what work has been done by the Election Commission to prevent the use of black money for campaigning during elections.
Answer- In response to this, Chief Parliamentary Secretary Ram Kumar Chaudhary told that the candidate can spend the amount only up to a limit in the election. At present, the commission appoints an officer along with the candidate who audits the amount spent on videos, posters in the election rally and informs the commission for action against the candidate for violation of the limit amount.
Question– “Rijul Rangta” from Shimla put his question in front of the guest and asked whether corruption does not increase due to misuse of money in politics?
Answer- In response to this, the chief guest said that corruption is not only in politics, wherever money is involved there is corruption. In such a situation, the citizens have to decide that they should not promote corruption and get their work done properly. It is possible to stop corruption only when morality comes in society. Although I do not say that the leader is corrupt and action is taken against those who are and they are in some jail today.

Significantly, impressed by this question of “Rijul Rangta”, the chief guest of the session, Chief Parliamentary Secretary of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly, Ram Kumar Chaudhary, declared him the leader of the session.
