Jaipur. In the “Baal Sarpanch” convention held for the first time in the capital Jaipur, ADMA’s Chief Executive Officer and former Commissioner of Ajmer Municipal Rules Mr. Raj Narayan Sharma explained the rights of children and the importance of audit in the Panchayat system. While addressing the children on the topic of how the administration should coordinate with politics, various acts like audits, RTI, etc were told by which the children could ensure the development of their village. In this convention, the children also asked their questions to the chief guest, to which he answered very simply.
Selected child representatives from all the divisions of Rajasthan have participated in this three-day “Baal Sarpanch” summit organized by Digital Baal Mela and the campaign “Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch” started by UNICEF. These children have come after choosing the “Baal Panchayat” in their village. He explained in detail the technical intricacies of the Panchayat system. Mrs. Anjana Sharma from Future Society and Mrs. Amrita Chowdhary, Additional District Collector, Jaipur City were present on this occasion.
On December 26, child representatives will present a suggestion letter to the Rajasthan government, in which the government’s attention will be drawn to fulfill the basic needs of the children. This proposal will take up the issues which were raised by the child claimants in 10 “Baal Panchayats” and which are important in the lives of children. Janhvi Sharma, who holds the innovation of Digital Baal mela, told that in this Children’s Convention, they will see buildings like Panchayat, Vidhansabha located in Jaipur, they will also visit Albert Hall and Hawamahal.
