Vikramaditya Singh’s mother Rani Pratibha Singh is the president of Himachal Congress. 34-year-old Vikramaditya is the youngest minister in the Himachal Pradesh cabinet. After becoming an MLA for the first time in the year 2017, he was also made a member of the Public Undertaking Committee. In the year 2017, as the youngest MLA, Vikramaditya Singh, who reached the assembly for the first time by being elected as MLA, while in the opposition, worked to surround the then Jairam government on many issues.
Vikramaditya Singh is often known for talking apart from the party line. In the 2022 assembly elections, Vikramaditya Singh defeated the BJP candidate by 13 thousand 860 votes. He won with a margin of three times the number of votes as compared to 2017. During the assembly elections of the year 2022, Vikramaditya Singh not only campaigned in his area but also went to campaign in 15 assembly constituencies of Himachal Pradesh. The central high command of the Congress included Vikramaditya Singh in the list of star campaigners. Vikramaditya Singh is considered the choice of the youth. Cabinet Minister Vikramaditya Singh is also very active on social media. He is generally known for talking apart from the party line. For this reason, he is the choice of not only the ruling party but also the people of the opposition.
