Jaipur: Shivraj Singh Chouhan was born on 5 March 1959. His father’s name is Mr. Premsingh Chauhan and mother’s name is Mrs. Sunderbai Chauhan. Shivraj Singh Chouhan is the present Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. Shivraj Singh Chouhan is a senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party and currently also the National Vice President of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Along with this, Shivraj Singh Chauhan is a dedicated worker of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.
Shivraj Singh Chouhan started his political career with Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad. Chauhan became the organization minister of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad in 1977-78. Also, from 1975 to 1980, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad was the joint minister of Madhya Pradesh. State General Secretary of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad from 1980 to 1982, became ा member of National Executive Council in 1982-83, became Joint Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, Madhya Pradesh in 1984-85. After this he was General Secretary from 1985 to 1988 and State President of Yuva Morcha from 1988 to 1991.
Shivraj Singh Chouhan became MLA for the first time in 1990 from Budhni assembly constituency. After this, in 1991, Chauhan became MP for the first time from Vidisha parliamentary constituency. Shivraj Singh Chauhan Convener of All India Kesariya Vahini in 1991-92 and General Secretary of All India Janata Yuva Morcha in 1992, Shivraj Singh Chauhan was appointed as State General Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party from 1992 to 1994.
Chauhan was appointed the state president of Bharatiya Janata Party in the year 2005. Chouhan took oath as the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh on 29 November 2005. In the elections to the 13th Vidhan Sabha of the state, Chauhan got Vijayashree by performing the role of star campaigner of Bharatiya Janata Party. On 10 December 2008, Chouhan was unanimously elected leader of the 143-member Bharatiya Janata Party Legislature Party. On 12 December 2008, Chouhan took the oath of office and secrecy of Madhya Pradesh for the second time at Jamboree Maidan in Bhopal.
In the year 2020, Kamal Nath government has bid farewell. Actually, 22 Congress MLAs had resigned. 6 ministers were involved in this. The speaker had accepted the resignation of the ministers. Due to the resignation, the Kamal Nath government was reduced to a minority, but instead of conducting the floor test, the House was adjourned. After this the matter reached the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court ordered the Kamal Nath government to conduct a floor test immediately. After the order, the Speaker accepted the resignation of all 16 MLAs and Kamal Nath resigned from the post of Chief Minister even before the floor test. After this BJP came to majority in Madhya Pradesh and Shivraj Singh Chouhan was sworn in as Chief Minister for the fourth time.
Shivraj Singh is the first Chief Minister to take charge as the Chief Minister for the longest time in Madhya Pradesh, Chauhan has taken over as the Chief Minister of India for 13 years and 17 days, and at present also he is holding the post of Chief Minister again after 15 months. Have been Apart from this, he holds the record of becoming the Chief Minister for the maximum number of times in Madhya Pradesh. On March 23, Shivraj Singh Chouhan took oath as Chief Minister for the fourth time.
