Jaipur: Children took an educational tour of Jaipur during the three-day “Baal Sarpanch Convention”. The children also visited the Indira Gandhi Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Institute of the Department of Panchayati Raj and Rural Development, Government of Rajasthan. Here the children got to learn about the functioning of the Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Department. Children also participated in a quiz related to democracy. During this, the children also presented their thoughts in front of the rest of the children.
It is noteworthy that under the “Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch” campaign being run by Digital Bal Mela, a three-day “Baal Sarpanch” convention was organized in Jaipur from 25 to 27 December and the “Child Representatives” elected in 10 Baal Panchayats organized in seven divisions of Rajasthan were a part of it.
For your information, let us tell you that the “Main Bhi Bal Sarpanch” campaign was started by Digital Baal Mela and UNICEF on 15 August 2022. Even before this, the Digital Baal Mela was the one to organize the historic children’s session on 14 November 2021 to encourage the political understanding of children.
