Children give important suggestions to the government, target on many topics

 

A special children’s session was organized in the Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha on June 12, 2023 to commemorate the International Day Against Child Labour. To participate in this special children’s session, 1108 children from all over the country made their suggestions and sent to the Digital Bal Mela. In these suggestions, the children also expressed their views on important issues like education, medical, unemployment. Some of these ideas are –

Under the aegis of Himachal Education Department, Bal Satra was organized in Himachal Vidhan Sabha on June 12 under this campaign sponsored by LIC organized by D.B.M.  This “Children’s Session” was organized in Shimla in the presence of Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania and Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu. Digital Bal Mela is a platform set up by children to create awareness among children and showcase their art. It was started by 10-year-old Janhvi Sharma from Jaipur. Its main objective is to remove the boredom of children in the Corona period, bring their art in front of the public and provide a platform to the creativity of children. For this, Digital Bal Mela has also organized many campaigns so far. Recently, Digital Bal Mela has organized a writing competition on important days of the month of September.  At the end of the competition, the child whose writing skills will be the best will also be given a cash prize of Rs 1100. The articles written by the child writers will be posted on the website of Digital Bal Mela along with their photos.
