It happened when the Member of Opposition and Child MLA from Lahaul and Spiti, Sonam Yudaun raised questions on the efforts made by Himachal Pradesh government to protect the art and culture of the state .

Along with this , Sonam also said that the condition of the roads leading to the major and historical temples of the state is very poor, due to which thousands of devotees who come daily have to face many problems. She asked if the government has any plan to repair these roads in near future or not .

The answer to this question was given by Tourism and , Art and Culture Minister and Child MLA from Jwalamukhi, Divyanshi Sharma . She stated that Shimla Summer Fest has recently been organized by the government to preserve the art and culture of the state. Along with this, the state government organizes events from time to time for the protection and promotion of the state’s prominent dance “Nati“. She also mentioned that a museum is present in the state to preserve the state’s rich art and culture.

Answering the second question, the Child Minister informed the House that the state government is considering repairing of roads leading to the historical temples, which are also a symbol of the state’s culture, and is planning to repair these temples as well . Due to the excessive movement of devotees, this process has been stopped by the government. When there is less crowd at these places, then the department decided by the government will complete this work.

On this, Shubham, the MLA of the opposition and the selected candidate from Chamba, while sitting at his place started making religious comments on the minister. Because of this, the speaker of this special Baal Satra, Lavish Negi, got agitated and warned the House to take strict action against him. Not only this, the Speaker also said that the House is not the place for religious politics, and that it’s a secular place .
