World Environmental Health Day is celebrated on September 26th every year by the International Federation of Environmental Health (IFEH) Council to promote awareness of different issues surrounding environmental health.

The World Environment Day celebration started in 2011 at the IFEH meeting and the inaugural event of the Environmental Health Youth Summit in Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia.

The International Federation of Environmental Health (IFEH) is an international organization promoting the significance of environmental health and providing a common global platform for national organizations that are working for the same cause.

For more than 32 years, IFEH has been actively working to improve the health issues that constantly threaten human well-being and to promote the study of environmental health.

Environmental health is considered to be the health issues outside the human body and the environmental factors that can pose a threat to human health in the form of disease and sickness.

There are many environmental issues like pollution, greenhouse effect, climate change, urbanization, etc., which are deteriorating the quality of the environment, air, water, food, etc., which is essential for human survival in day-to-day life.

Digital Baal Mela is a platform set up by children to create awareness among children and showcase their art.

Digital Bal Mela has organized a writing competition on important days of the month of September. At the end of the competition, the child whose writing skills are the best will also be given a cash prize of Rs 1100. You can also participate in this.    Digital Baal Mela is an innovative platform for children to showcase their talent and creativity. It was started in 2020 by Janhvi Sharma, a 10-year-old girl from Jaipur. Digital Baal Mela has run several campaigns so far including “Rajasthan Vidhan Sabha Baal Satra”, “Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Baal satra”, “Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch” etc.
