Under the campaign “Bacchon ki Sarkaar Kaisi Ho?” Organized by Digital Baal Mela and sponsored by LIC the Chief Minister of Himachal made a big announcement in the Himachal Pradesh Vidhansabha Baal Satra. Ikshita suggested the government under legislative procedure 324 in the children’s session that because of the increasing stress in children, the government should bring a provision of yoga or meditation in schools after the everyday prayer for 10 minutes. Appreciating this suggestion, CM Sukhu announced the inclusion of this in the education policy.

Under this process, a total of 21 suggestions and issues were raised in front government including-

Legalization of hemp cultivation by the government, promotion of women’s participation in politics, efforts to increase tourism, online medical facilities, digitalization of education, new education policy, the inclusion of theater in the school curriculum, promotion of electrical vehicles, environmental protection, ashrams for special children, prevention of child labor, steps against rash drivers, suggestions for prevention of increasing accidents, demand for correcting roadways system, suggestions for prevention of landslides – are included.

Under the campaign, Bacchon ki Sarkaar Kaisi Ho?- a total of 68 children participated in the historic Baal Satra. These children were selected out of 1,108 children who sent their entries. Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania presided over this special session organized in the Vidhan Sabha Bhawan of Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh.

Not only this, Chief Minister Mr. Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu was present in this session as the chief guest and boosted the morale of the children. Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Shri Harivansh Narayan Singh was also present in this session as a special guest.
